Captured Motion lets you bring different camera brands together on your Mac. This guide shows where live view, alerts, and retained local recording are available, so you can choose the setup that fits your cameras and expectations.

If a brand is marked live-view only, it can still appear in Captured Motion, trigger alerts, and stay useful every day. The only limitation is that Captured Motion will not keep an ongoing retained clip history for that connection type on your Mac.
