Connect eufy cameras
In the app, choose Eufy Security on the first setup screen.
The reliable route is the stream eufy publishes for NAS recording. Apple Home is the better route if your eufy camera supports it. The eufy account sign-in is being retired by eufy.
Before you connect
- eufy Security app → the camera → Settings → General (or Storage) → NAS (RTSP Stream). Switch it on. The app shows the stream address; copy it.
- Give the camera or HomeBase a fixed address on your router, or the stream address stops working after a reboot.
- If the option is missing, update the app and the camera firmware. Sleeping battery cameras and most doorbells never offer it.
- In Captured Motion pick Eufy Security and paste the address into the camera’s Local RTSP Link field.
What the app asks for
| Local RTSP Link | The address the eufy app shows, e.g. rtsp://user:[email protected]:554/live0. |
|---|
If it does not connect
| Stream stops after a few minutes | Toggle NAS (RTSP) off and on in the eufy app. Battery models only stream while they see motion. |
|---|---|
| No RTSP option | That model does not publish a stream. Use Apple Home if the camera supports it. |
