Connect an Apple Home camera
In the app, choose HomeKit Camera on the first setup screen.
Cameras paired to your Home — Aqara, eufy, Logitech Circle, Eve, Ecobee and others — can be used straight away.
Before you connect
- Make sure the camera shows in the Home app on this Mac (same iCloud account).
- In Captured Motion pick HomeKit Camera. macOS asks for HomeKit access; allow it. If you refused earlier, System Settings → Privacy & Security → HomeKit → Captured Motion.
- Tap Rescan if the list is empty, then choose your cameras.
If it does not connect
| Found cameras but cannot list them | HomeKit access was not granted; allow it in Privacy & Security and rescan. |
